How to create a certificate with the same design for 1 or more recipients?

You can create a new certificate or add a certificate to an existing program.

  • Click on the ‘Certificates’ option in the create section. 
  • Click on  ‘Create a new program and add certificates’ or choose ‘Add certificates to an existing program’ if you have already created one.
Creating your first certificate

Add Program details

(This will be skipped if you choose ‘Add certificates to an existing program')

  • Enter the 'Title of the program/course' & 'Description'.
Adding details about the Certificate program

  • Add Cover Image for the program/course. (A cover image is an icon for the collection of all the certificates you’ll be adding in the program)

  • You can create program cover image using templates or
  • You can upload an image of your own in .png or .jpg format (For best experience use 1:1 square 1080x1080 px image)
  • Click 'Next'

Choose your design preference

  • Same design for 1 or more recipient(s)some text
    • One of a kind certificate for 1 or more recipients
    • You can customize the design using the editor to add the participant’s name and other fields. You can either create a single certificate for a person or issue a common certificate to multiple recipients.

Create certificate design

After selecting the design preference, create the design for your certificates. To do this you can do 1 of the following:

  • Template: Use one of the templates that are available
  • Create with AI: You can enter a prompt to generate a template for the award
  • Upload: Upload the design of the award from your computer

Edit the text on the certificate and add the Recipient’s Name (If you’re creating a certificate for 1 recipient)

Add details of certificate

  • Enter the following details about the certificate
    1. Title of the certificate*
    2. Description*
    3. Additional details
    4. No. of Owners*
    5. External Link

Note that you’ll not be able to change the Title of the certificate, Description, No. of Owners and External Link after the certificates have been listed and claimed by the owners.

  • Click Next

Preview details & create

  • Preview all the details of the certificate, you can go back and make any changes if required
  • Click ‘Create’

Your certificate is now created. It's time to share it with your recipients by listing it.

How to create certificates with personalized design for multiple recipients?

To create certificates with personalized design for multiple recipients

  • Click on the ‘Certificates’ option in the create section
  • Click on  ‘Create a new program and add certificates’ or choose ‘Add certificates to an existing program’ if you have already created one

Choose your design preference

  • Personalized design for multiple recipients
    • Create bulk certificates with the same design, personalized with each recipient's name
    • You can customize the design by adding a placeholder for personalized fields (like the name of each participant). This can be done by adding text in square brackets on the template

Create certificate design

After selecting the design preference, create the design for your certificates. To do this you can do 1 of the following:

             1. Template: Use one of the templates that are available

              2. Create with AI: You can enter a prompt to generate a template for the award

              3. Upload: Upload the design of the award from your computer

  • Edit the text on the certificate
  • Add the text ‘Recipient Name’ in square brackets [Recipient Name] in the design where you would like the recipient names to appear on the certificates (This will be added by default if you select one of the templates)
  • After editing the design, enter the ‘Number of recipients’
  • Click ‘Next’

Tell us more about the certificates

  • Add the 'Certificate title’

The ‘Choose title suffix’ section will be selected as ‘Recipients Name’ by default.

  • Add the winner’s names in the ‘Recipient Name’ column
  • Add the Details of the winner in the ‘Description’ column, this is an optional field

The number of columns will depend on the ‘Number of recipients’ entered in the ‘Create certificate design’ page. You can add a new column to add more recipients by clicking on ‘+’ Icon. You can remove a column by clicking over 3 dots and selecting ‘Delete row’.

  • Alternatively you can also download the template.csv file and add commemorative details as per the instruction given and re-upload the file in the same format

The csv template will have the following fields:

  • [Recipient Name]: This is the placeholder field that you have added for updating the customized information of the recipient. The csv file can have more of such fields if additional placeholders are added on the certificate design
  • ‍description: Add a description to the certificate, you can personalize the description for each recipient if needed
  • claim_instruction: Add the instructions to claim the certificate
  • Click 'Next'

Verify all the details and design of the certificate, if you need to change anything, you can click 'Go back' and make the changes. 

  • Click 'Create'

Your certificate is now created. It's time to share it with your recipients by listing it.

How to get your certificate listed?

Click on 'Collection' in the main menu

Select the event that has the certificates you want to list. You can either choose to list the certificates as a 'Free claims' or as a 'Paid claims'

There are two ways you can get you can get the certificates listed

  • Check the box for the certificates you want to list and select the type of claim you want to get your certificates listed with.
  • Click on the 3 dots for the certificate you want to list and choose the required option.

If you select 'Free claims', enter the following details for listing the certificate:

  1. Quantity (Quantity of the certificate you want to create on blockchain)
  2. Claim start date (The date from which the certificate could be claimed)
  3. Claim end date (The date at which the certificate will expire)
  4. Type of claim (Allows you to protect your certificate with a passcode or keep it accessible to all)
  5. Copy Passcode (Copy the passcode that the system has generated for your certificate) 
  6. Uncheck the first box if you do not want to allow the certificate to be resold to someone else
  7. Uncheck the second box if you want to allow the same person to claim the certificate more than once
  8. Click 'Save Changes'

If you select 'Paid claims', enter the following details for listing the certificate:

  1. Price for the certificate.
  2. Quantity (Quantity of the certificate you want to create on blockchain)
  3. Claim start date (The date from which the certificate could be claimed)
  4. Claim end date (The date at which the certificate will expire)
  5. Type of claim (Allows you to protect your certificate with a passcode or keep it accessible to all)
  6. Copy Passcode (Copy the passcode that the system has generated for your certificate) 
  7. Uncheck the first box if you do not want to allow the certificate to be resold to someone else
  8. Uncheck the second box if you want to allow the same person to claim the certificate more than once
  9. Click 'Save Changes'
